This project spotlights the captivating beauty and crucial role of hummingbirds, one of nature's most extraordinary creatures, and their endangered friends in bees and butterflies. 

As Hummingbird Momma Owner and President Tammy Muranyi explains: "Hummingbirds are not only beautiful and unique, but they are also super pollinators. It is imperative that we save and protect them, as their extinction, along with bees and butterflies, would have a devastating effect on humanity and the regeneration of our planet's ecosystem."

The Project

Hummingbird Momma goes beyond being a collection of 2500 exclusive 1/1 NFTs, encouraging us all to take action in preserving our planet's biodiversity. Our Origin Story

“I spent many summers trying to get these little hummers to come to my feeders. I spent a lot of time researching what worked — and what didn’t. About five years ago, my husband, who had watched my process patiently over time — started calling me ‘Hummingbird Momma’!” explains Owner and President Tammy Muranyi. 

“Being sensitive to environmental issues, I began to seek out and develop the purest organic formulation available to feed my little friends. 

The most important part of my research dispelled the myth that the red dye in the nectar attracts our little hummingbirds. In fact, depending on the manufacturer, the colored dye in these nectar packs can be quite toxic. Because of this reason (and others), I developed my own organic, all-natural nectar concentrate that provides the birds with a nectar that is most similar in consistency and sweetness as that found in natural flowers.” 

From there, we wanted to further foster our community and support our pollinators. It was then that Hummingbird Momma — the NFT project — was born. 

Today, we are an environmentally-driven organization deeply concerned about the possible future extinction of our planet’s three essential pollinators — hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies — as the survival of humanity, our planet, and our planet's precious wildlife depend on their survival.
